Whilst I have never been one to blog before, let alone read another one's blog - I felt it was time to move with technology instead of running from it!
Billy & Button is about me - where I am from to where I am now, and hopefully an inside into the future. As a child my nickname was "Billy" and "Button" was my sister. A family of two daughters, with loving parents growing up in an average home, in an average suburb where our folks did whatever they could with what resources they had for us.
Although my sister and I were never close, we shared the same interests yet had very differing opinions of them. We did the same sports, went to the same school, wore the same style of clothing, ate the same food - but that is probably where the similarities stopped. "Button" was, and still is, very laid back and is quite accepting of most things. Myself, well "highly strung" and "perfectionist" are probably the first words that come to mind!
Why create "Billy & Button"? Well I am hoping to share a joint venture with my sister, not that she knows about it yet, of creating an online market style site where we can get together and create lovely handmade gift items from bags to toys, for sale.
One thing we both have in common is a knack for being very arty and creative.
